After completing a BA at the University of Sussex, I discovered Osteopathy whilst seeking treatment for a snowboarding injury. I experienced the benefits of it first hand and found that it appealed to my natural interests in healthcare and the human body.
After doing more research I was inspired to study at the British School of Osteopathy, where I graduated with a distinction in the Masters degree programme in 2015. Since then I have worked in alternative health clinics, gyms and golf clubs in East London and the Midlands.
I have experience in treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions, in patients from all walks of life and believe that a hands-on approach to treatment can assist the body’s natural ability to heal, through identifying and treating the causes of dysfunction. I am also keen to educate patients about their bodies so that they leave their treatments feeling that they have a sense of agency and positivity.
I use a range of techniques for joints and soft tissues, provide lifestyle and postural advice, and suggest exercises and/or stretches where appropriate. I also hold qualifications in sports massage and Medical Acupuncture.
My approach to treatment is professional and friendly. I think that people gain the most from their treatment when they feel at ease and in safe hands. I am passionate about osteopathy and its versatility. Each person is unique and osteopathy lends itself well to treating the needs of the individual.
In 2019 a desire to be by the sea and craving for a more balanced lifestyle culminated in a decision to relocate to Devon. Outside of work I enjoy yoga, surfing, running and exploring the great outdoors with my family.
I am currently based at Bude Yoga and Therapy Space.
